Recent advances with noninvasive brain stimulation in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Participants will demonstrate the ability to discuss the applications and dosing of transcranial magnetic stimulation (single-pulse, paired-pulse, high frequency, low frequency, theta burst stimulation).
- Participants will review recent findings from studies examining transcranial magnetic stimulation as a neurophysiological probe and therapeutic tool in adolescents with depression and autism spectrum disorder.
- Participants will demonstrate the ability to discuss the ethical, pragmatic, and study design challenges related to work with brain stimulation and children and adolescents.
