Alexa Rodriguez is a Research Assistant for the Healthy Brain Network. Her responsibilities include assisting in the collection of data, scoring assessments and entering data. Alexa graduated from State University of New York at Oswego with a BA in psychology with a minor in health science. During the time at her university, she worked in the Sensory Behavior Lab and presented at Eastern Psychological Association in Boston. She also conducted her own independent research study on sensory ability in migraine sufferers. She used psychological measures to identify differences in olfactory thresholds between individuals who have migraines and those who do not. After graduation, she worked at a group home for adults with developmental disabilities where she helped them reach daily goals and learn skills for everyday life. Alexa’s main interests are olfaction, neuropsychology and the brain. Her goal is to obtain a PsyD in clinical neuropsychology.
