Alisa Gudz is a behavioral technician in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. Ms. Gudz provides family and individual exposure therapy in the Brave Buddies intensive selective mutism program Ms. Gudz is skilled in both PCIT and an adaption of PCIT for treating selective mutism, and has been involved in the Child Mind Institute’s selective mutism and ADHD and behavior disorders teams in various roles. She was a program assistant for both the Anxiety Disorders Center and the ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center for several years. Ms. Gudz has also been a longtime Brave Buddies counselor.

Currently, Ms. Gudz is earning her Master of Social Work degree at Columbia University. She has experience working with children and adolescents with selective mutism, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder and autism spectrum disorder. Previously, she has provided individual and group therapy in both summer program and school settings.
