Alisa Gudz, MSW
Alisa Gudz, MSW, is a former social worker in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. Ms. Gudz has specialized interest in the treatment of selective mutism and other anxiety disorders in children. She has experience providing these treatments to families and children through the Brave Buddies intensive selective mutism program. Ms. Gudz is also a Brave Buddies classroom leader.
Ms. Gudz has received training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and has experience providing individual and group therapy in outpatient and school settings. She has worked with children and adolescents with selective mutism, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Ms. Gudz is passionate about helping children and their families reach their goals.
