Amy Gutierrez is an assistant research engineer in the Computational Neuroimaging Lab at the Child Mind Institute. She works on software development to automate preprocessing and analysis of large-scale neuroimaging datasets for the Configurable Pipeline for the Analysis of Connectomes (C-PAC) package.
Prior to joining the Child Mind Institute, Amy worked at Mount Sinai in the Department of Pharmacological Sciences as a researcher creating computational mathematical models of cardiac cells for drug simulations. Her educational background in biomedical engineering was concentrated in robotics.
