Amy Zhen is an intern for the Healthy Brain Network, where she assists with day-to-day operations. Amy is passionate about early mental health interventions and plans to pursue a doctorate in counseling psychology. Amy majors in psychology and creative writing at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter, where her thesis focuses on the effects of parenting styles on children’s mental health. Amy previously worked at The Bridge, where she helped licensed clinical social workers update psychosocial histories and ran biweekly art workshops for the patients, and at The Fresh Air Fund, where she enrolled children for its summer camp programs.
