
Annalise Caviasco, MA
Annalise Caviasco, MA, is a clinical extern in the ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. She is a current fourth-year PhD student in clinical psychology at The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Annalise has previously trained at a community mental health clinic based at Queens College, providing both neuropsychological assessments and psychotherapy interventions. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents in medical, research, and clinical care settings. Annalise has worked with children and families coping with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, mood disorders, learning disabilities, medical conditions, and LGBTQ+ related concerns.
Annalise draws upon evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), social skills training, behavioral parent training, emotional regulation, and self-compassion and strives to devise creative ways to help families adapt them to their daily lives. She approaches her work with a collaborative, open, and warm communication style and feels fortunate to be a part of the learning and growth process along with children, parents, and families.
