Charles Fields, MBA

Charles Fields, MBA is the Chief of Staff at the Child Mind Institute.

Charles is a forward-thinking operations strategy consultant working in the technology, telecom, consumer electronics, health care, pharmaceutical, insurance, energy, and financial services sectors. He has also used his expertise in strategic planning, strategy execution, operations, and organizational change management to help nonprofit and government organizations better serve and advocate for various communities.

As a strategic operations leader and PMO executive in the nonprofit sector, Charles enhanced operations strategy, processes, and controls — while improving financial standings — at various national organizations.

As the Deputy Secretary of State for New York, Charles served as a senior member of the governor’s task force to address worker exploitation in the nail salon industry.

Charles is a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. He holds an MBA from Columbia University’s Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Boston University. He has lived and worked in Africa, Europe, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. During his time off, Charles is a certified ski instructor, a race coach, and an avid golfer. He also enjoys hiking with his Rhodesian Ridgeback.
