Cristina Sperrazza, PsyD, is a post-doctoral fellow psychologist at the Healthy Brain Network.  A native Staten Islander, Dr. Sperrazza received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Wagner College and master’s degree in mental health counseling at the College of Staten Island.  Through her doctoral program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, she worked as an assessment lab assistant and completed an externship rotation at Hahnemann Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry and Neuropsychology, where she conducted intake evaluations for bariatric patients, neuropsychological batteries for neurology patients, and pre- and post-surgical cognitive assessments for cardiac patients involved in research studies. As a doctoral intern at the APA-accredited Intercommunity Action, Inc., Dr. Sperrazza worked as a child and adult outpatient community mental health clinician providing individual and group therapy, comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations, intakes, full and partial psychological/psycho-educational batteries, autism assessments using the ADOS-2, and crisis interventions. Her research interests pertain to pediatric clinical issues, specifically neurodevelopmental disorders, evidence-based interventions, and school-related challenges.
