
Dan Parham
Dan Parham is the chief product officer and program director for Next Generation Digital Therapeutics at the Child Mind Institute.
Dan co-founded and was CEO of Neighborland, a communications platform that helped government agencies, civic organizations, and universities collaborate with the public in an accessible, participatory, and equitable way. As a social enterprise, Neighborland worked with over 200 government agencies, universities, foundations, and nonprofits across the U.S. and Canada, and these projects yielded over $700 billion in social and economic impact.
Nextdoor acquired Neighborland in September 2019, where Dan led the Public Agency (Government) team as a Head of Product from 2019-2023.
Dan has served as an advisor on civic engagement technology for the Obama Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities initiative. He has mentored government technology startups at Matter, Hangar, and Code for America.
From 2006-2009, Dan was a director of user experience at Yahoo, working for the Marketplace and Advertising Platform teams. From 2003-2006, he was a creative director at Time Warner, leading product and design for the platform.
