Danielle Branton is a social work intern at the Mood Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. She is a second-year master’s degree candidate in the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Training Program at Columbia University School of Social Work and specializes in clinical practice.

Ms. Branton is experienced in delivering cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments. She has worked with children, adolescents and families who experience severe emotion dysregulation, and disorders such as anxiety disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and major depressive disorder. Ms. Branton has delivered treatment in both group and individual modalities and has experience delivering treatment in community, home, and school settings.

Prior to joining the Child Mind Institute Ms. Branton served as a social work intern for Partnership With Children in Brooklyn. In this role, Ms. Branton provided counseling services and case management services to children and families in a public school. In addition, Ms. Branton has worked as a youth case manager for a community-based mental health organization.
