Giuseppe Minniti is the Research Coordinator for the Healthy Brain Network office in Staten Island. He is responsible for assisting in the coordination of daily protocol operations and supervising the research assistant staff. Giuseppe has a master’s of science degree in biotechnology from CUNY College of Staten Island where his research focused on understanding the genetic mechanisms induced by drugs of abuse that produce brain plasticity leading to tolerance and dependence. In the past, he interned at Maimonides Medical Center, as well as in Dr. Alejandra Alonso’s molecular biology lab researching Alzheimer’s disease and pathological human tau.
