Heather Northrop is Vice President of Development at the Child Mind Institute. She leads the organization’s fundraising and development initiatives, with a focus on expanding revenue streams and partnering with the philanthropic community to support the organization’s ambitious goals. In this capacity, Heather works closely with the Board of Directors to advance the strategic priorities of the Child Mind Institute.
Heather is a seasoned professional with a passion for improving the lives of children. Prior to joining the Child Mind Institute, she served as Vice President at CCS Fundraising, where she managed transformative fundraising campaigns and special projects for the Horace Mann School, Rutgers University, The Frick Collection and The Public Theater. Prior to joining CCS, Heather was Vice President of Client Relations at Chilton Investment Company. Her interest in nonprofit work began during a summer internship at Save the Children.
Heather graduated cum laude from Bucknell University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in education.
