Jaipreet Ghuman

Participant Navigator, Healthy Brain Network

Jaipreet Ghuman is a participant navigator for the Healthy Brain Network. She is responsible for liaising between research staff and participants to ensure a positive experience for children and families. As an undergraduate she assisted in administering and scoring assessments for studies on anthropomorphism and differences in social identity between groups. Jaipreet was also a research extern at NYU’s Family Translational Research Group, where she interfaced with participants for the MomCam project and contributed to grant proposals for studies on ideal parental involvement in children’s homework and growth mindset.

Born and raised in India, Jaipreet is especially passionate about neurodevelopmental diseases caused by malnutrition, and early intervention for disorders like ADHD. She hopes to pursue her doctoral studies in applied cognitive behavior therapy (CBT).
