Jasmine Bryant, MS, is a clinical extern in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. She is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the school psychology program at St. John’s University, where she also received her master’s degree in school psychology. Ms. Bryant has experience providing evidence-based treatments to children, adolescents, and young adults with generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, and cognitive and language-based learning disabilities.

Ms. Bryant has received training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and interventions for children with selective mutism. She utilizes an integrative and person-centered approach to best meet the needs of the individual and their family, while working collaboratively with families, schools, and other supports in the client’s life to promote lasting change.

Ms. Bryant has provided individual, family, and group therapy in diverse settings including schools and community mental health clinics. Prior to joining the Child Mind Institute, Ms. Bryant trained as an intern at Shaw Avenue and Forest Road Elementary Schools in Valley Stream, New York, where she worked with children and families struggling with behavioral challenges, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders. She also served as a student clinician at St. John’s Center for Psychological Services, where she provided both therapy and assessment. Ms. Bryant’s research has focused on REBT interventions to benefit school-aged athletes.

Ms. Bryant is committed to providing exceptional, individualized care as she supports children, adolescents, and young adults in their journeys to overcome anxiety and related difficulties.
