Jessica Prizer is a behavioral technician in the Learning and Development Center at the Child Mind Institute. As a coach in the College Success Program, Ms. Prizer helps students to develop and maintain organizational skills to achieve academic success.

Ms. Prizer is currently a doctoral student in the School Psychology Program at St. John’s University. She is a student therapist in the Center for Psychological Services, where she provides psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents and young adults to better understand their academic difficulties. In addition to conducting assessments, she provides recommendations for how to best support students both emotionally and academically.

Ms. Prizer has worked at the Child Mind Institute in the ADHD and Behavior Disorders center, and is familiar with various treatments, including parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), parent management training and social skills training. Additionally, Ms. Prizer has worked in the Selective Mutism Service, where she provided support to children and adolescents in both school and clinical settings.

Ms. Prizer is dedicated to providing evidence-based interventions to help students reach their full academic potential and improve their educational experience.
