Jiaqi Zhou, MA, is a clinical extern in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. She is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the clinical psychology program at Stony Brook University. Ms. Zhou is skilled in providing evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and parent management training. She has experience providing treatment to children, adolescents and young adults with generalized anxiety disorder, social phobia, depression, specific phobias, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), oppositional defiant disorder, and selective mutism.

Ms. Zhou has provided individual, parent-child dyad, and group therapy in clinical settings. She has worked as a student clinician at the Krasner Psychological Center at the psychology department of Stony Brook University. Ms. Zhou has participated in multiple research projects that examine the effectiveness of individual and group psychotherapy for children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional disorders. Her doctoral research examines psychological and educational interventions for adolescents and young adults with ASD.
