
Jon Cluce, MIS
Jon Cluce is an associate software developer focused on DevOps in the Center for Data Analytics, Innovation, and Rigor (DAIR) at the Child Mind Institute.
Cluce has worked as an assistant teacher at an engineering bootcamp at Columbia University, two preschools, and an after-school LEGO® robotics program. Over the years, Cluce has worn many hats. Not only have they held various roles at a credit union, but they’ve also held several agricultural research assistant positions. Additionally, they’ve been a partner in an art collective and a radio producer.
Prior to their current role, Cluce worked in the MATTER Lab at the Child Mind Institute, focusing on ecological tools for embodied data. And in the Center for the Developing Brain, they studied bibliometrics and selective mutism. Their research can be found in their ORCID record at orcid.org/0000-0001-7590-5806.
At the DAIR Center, Cluce is a member of the Configurable Pipeline for the Analysis of Connectomes (C-PAC) software platform team. They work to improve the stability and reliability of open-source software.
Cluce advocates for design best practices and to improve adoption of standards through the NMIND collaborative.
