Jordyn Blaustein, MS, is a psychology extern for the Healthy Brain Network at the Child Mind Institute. She is a doctoral candidate in the School-Community Psychology program at Hofstra University. Jordyn has a special interest in working to provide equitable access to mental health resources and specializes in providing comprehensive psychological evaluations for all populations. Additionally, she provides therapeutic services for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), other neurodevelopmental disabilities, and trauma.

Before joining the Child Mind Institute, Jordyn gained experience providing therapy and diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents, and adults in both educational and clinical environments. She works holistically, focusing on the individualized needs of each client, while also providing support to parents and caregivers. She delivers individual and group therapy, as well as diagnostic evaluations for individuals with ASD and comorbid disorders. She has received formal training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2). Jordyn is also involved in the Institute for Generational Resilience Informed by Trauma (G.R.I.T.) at Hofstra University, where she creates and implements community-based therapeutic programs to enhance the well-being of surrounding communities.

In her position at the Healthy Brain Network, Jordyn will provide comprehensive mental health and learning evaluations free of cost to children and families. She will assist on feedback reports and sessions with clients, while also providing individualized recommendations and referrals if warranted. Ultimately, Jordyn aspires to pursue a career in the field of child psychology, committing herself to principles of collaboration and equity in school and clinical settings.
