José O. A. Filho, MS
José O. A. Filho is a former research associate in the Autism Center, where he was responsible for the organization and quality assurance of data acquired through Child Mind Institute studies, including fMRI, diffusion tensor imaging, physiological and eye-tracking data. He also contributed to autism research studies exploring new methods for data analysis, aiming to understand more about how this disorder affects brain functions.
José completed his master’s degree in electrical engineering, concentrating in biomedical engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. His thesis focused on multimodal data-driven techniques to explore how the functional brain networks are affected by the demyelination resulting from Multiple Sclerosis disease.
