Julia Giordano

Behavioral Technician, Learning and Development Center

Julia Giordano is a behavioral technician in the Learning and Development Center at the Child Mind Institute. Ms. Giordano works as a coach in the College Success Program, helping students develop and maintain organizational and executive functioning skills necessary to improve academic achievement.

Ms. Giordano has worked within the ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute for the last several years, and continues to provide support to the school and community based programs team. She has assisted clinicians in providing parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), parent skills training, and other behavior modification interventions.

Ms. Giordano is a doctoral student in a school-clinical combined child psychology program. She has experience in conducting clinical interviews, administering IQ tests to children and adults, and working with families with social, emotional or learning challenges.

Ms. Giordano is passionate about providing evidence-based interventions and strategies for children, adolescents and young adults who struggle with mental health or learning disorders.
