Ms. Ward completed her academic training as a middle school and high school social work intern, supporting both individuals and groups of adolescents and young adults as they navigated family, social and academic stressors. After receiving her MSW, she worked for three years in an Office of Mental Health (OMH) clinic conducting assessments, crisis intervention and individual therapy for both children and adults. Prior to joining the Child Mind Institute, Ms. Ward worked as a social worker at a psychiatric hospital in both inpatient and transitional living program settings.
