Meagan Kovacs

Meagan Kovacs, MS, is the MRI research coordinator for the Healthy Brain Network. Her work includes organizing neuroimaging research and working directly with participants in the imaging studies. She studied cognitive neuroscience as an undergraduate, focusing on executive function, cognitive development and music psychology, and is deeply interested in behavioral approaches to healthy brain development. She holds a master’s degree in Music, Mind and Brain from Goldsmiths, University of London.

Meagan’s research experience includes leading a lifespan development lab that traced the development of executive function in young children. In addition to research Meagan has worked with young children providing free music lessons to beginning musicians and has helped several students through solo performances, auditions, and musical plays.
