Ramon is a research assistant for the Healthy Brain Network, where his role includes assisting in the collection and entering of data and scoring assessments. Ramon graduated from Skidmore College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. During his time there he worked as a research assistant in an early learning lab, studying children’s ability to retain new words and how young children organize their early word knowledge as they get older. He attended a meeting of the Cognitive Development Society in Portland, Oregon, where he presented his findings. Since his graduation, Ramon has worked as a research assistant at NYU Steinhardt, where he investigated children’s learning dispositions towards visual media. Ramon’s research interests include cognitive development and decision-making in children and adolescents. His goal is to obtain a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and open his own practice while conducting psychological research.
