Sierra Carlen is a social work intern with the Healthy Brain Network at the Child Mind Institute. She is a first-year graduate student at the Silberman School of Social Work. Previously, she worked with parents using the Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up intervention, a social-emotional program designed to aid families in implementing sensitive parenting strategies to develop secure attachments, strengthen relationships and contribute to child development. She aims to become a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who specializes in working with children and families.
