Tatiana Mercedes, MA, EdM, is an associate clinical evaluator for the Healthy Brain Network. In her role she conducts psychiatric interviews and a multitude of assessments that include intelligence, achievement, language and cognitive testing.

Ms. Mercedes obtained a Master of Arts in psychological counseling, and a Master of Education in counseling psychology and mental health counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has also completed a bilingual Latinx mental health concentration that trained bilingual students with the necessary competencies for understanding and providing culturally responsive care to Spanish dominant, bilingual and multi-racial Latinx populations. During her undergraduate studies, she mentored at-risk adolescents in academic settings.

Ms. Mercedes’ clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults and families from all socioeconomic statuses in a variety of settings. She has provided psychotherapy, crisis intervention, case management, and consultation for facilitating treatment. She has also gained research experience in raising mental health awareness to reduce stigma in underprivileged communities. Ms. Mercedes intends to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical neuropsychology.
