Mickey Ellis-Stockley, MA

Pasante de psicología, Centro para el aprendizaje y el desarrollo
Child Mind Institute

He is a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the clinical psychology program at Palo Alto University, specializing in neuropsychology. Mickey has experience administering neuropsychological assessments to children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults in clinical and research contexts.

Prior to joining the Child Mind Institute, Mickey trained in the Gronowski Center at Palo Alto University, where he delivered psychotherapy — integrating acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) — to adults and couples presenting with depression, anxiety, and interpersonal challenges related to autism and ADHD. He also served as the research coordinator for a large study in the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Brain Injury Clinical Research Center in Baltimore, Maryland, which aimed to examine concussion recovery in children and adolescents.

Mickey is concurrently a practicum student at two sites: Stanford University School of Medicine and Villa Fairmont Mental Health Rehabilitation Center. At Stanford, he’s receiving further training in neuropsychological assessment with children. And at Villa Fairmont, he delivers evidence-based group therapy and psychological evaluations to adults who present with serious mental health challenges.
