Parent Workshop: Raising Self-Sufficient Children
About the Series
The Parent Workshop Series is hosted by the Child Mind Institute and The Gillen Brewer School. These three talks are for families of preschool and school-aged children in the greater New York City region who are seeking information and strategies on parenting, children’s behavior and development, and learning support systems. The goal of this series is to help inform and inspire healthy dialogue about children’s mental health and learning disorders.

- $25 per workshop covers two people — bring a friend along!
- Refreshments, including wine and cheese, will be served.

About Gillen Brewer School
The Gillen Brewer School is a family-oriented, 12-month, early childhood/elementary school program for children ages 2.8 to 10 years old who have a wide variety of language-based and non-verbal learning disabilities. The mission of the school is to educate and support our students to become confident, independent, and engaged learners. We provide an integrated, developmentally-appropriate academic-therapeutic program, that includes speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling.
