Classroom Management Techniques for Middle and High School Educators

Join Matthew Rouse, PhD, MSW, clinical psychologist in the ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute, for a presentation and discussion exploring ways to maintain a calm and productive classroom environment and bring out the best in young students. We will discuss techniques useful for handling disruptive, difficult, and unmotivated behavior, including daily report cards (DRCs), positive attention to desired behaviors, and disciplinary techniques for undesired behaviors. You will learn practical, real-world skills you can implement in your classroom for the benefit of all of your students.
