Ram Sundaram Honored at Child Advocacy Award Dinner

The 2013 dinner highlighted the Child Mind Institute’s neuroscience research program, which presents an opportunity for transformative breakthroughs in child mental health. An auction led by Deborah Roberts and Al Roker raised $6.4 million for the Healthy Brain Network, a community health initiative that is pioneering innovative, collaborative approaches to brain research with the ultimate goal of developing biological tests for mental illness. A short film produced by National Geographic Channel’s Brain Games host Jason Silva about the Child Mind Institute’s science program also premiered.
