Positive Discipline: A Roadmap from Elementary School Through High School

Anyone who interacts with children or adolescents can find themselves perplexed by the question of how best to deal with challenging behavior. In this workshop, Dr. David Anderson, a clinical psychologist and the Senior Director of the ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute, will engage parents and teachers in a discussion of how to provide structure at home and in school and increase positive behaviors, utilizing proactive behavioral techniques drawn from decades of research on discipline. The effective behavior management strategies discussed can be applied from elementary school through high school, helping parents and teachers build and maintain ongoing healthy and positive relationships.
