About This Workshop
Children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) find it unusually difficult to concentrate on tasks, sit still, and control impulsive behavior. Untreated, symptoms of ADHD can have a big impact on a kid’s life — causing trouble at school, conflict at home, and taking a toll on their self-esteem.
In this free, informational workshop, our expert clinical team will discuss how effective behavior management strategies can help children gain confidence and improve skills. Our intensive ADHD Summer Program provides a high level of support and counselor expertise as participants work on goals to improve positive peer relationships, academic performance, and emotion regulation skills— learn how it can make a significant difference in just four weeks.

Kids who struggle with behavior can feel like they are frequently being corrected and criticized. This impacts their self-esteem and can diminish their view of academics and learning. To address this issue, we’ve developed our Summer Program, a four-week summer treatment for children who have ADHD or who need help with behavioral, learning, and social issues. Children will build confidence and benefit from a high level of support and counselor expertise as they work on goals including:
- Developing and maintaining positive peer relationships
- Improving emotional awareness and regulation
- Jump-starting academic progress or maintaining school-year gains
