Care and Support Updates

Updates on the latest clinical offerings from our centers in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Heading back to school can be exceptionally difficult for children who struggle with mental health or learning challenges. The school environment demands abilities that summer activities just don’t: getting organized; staying on task; and adapting to a new, more structured daily schedule can contribute to nervousness.

Some kids will fall behind their peers despite tons of effort, and this can be very discouraging for them.

That’s where the Child Mind Institute can help. Our team at the Learning and Development Center provide a range of services, from evaluations and testing, personalized education plans, school placement consultation, and skills interventions and academic remediation. To learn more about our educational services for the upcoming academic year or to schedule an evaluation, please reach out to us today.
