Palo Alto Luncheon
More than 160 parents, educators and new friends attended the Child Mind Institute’s first fall luncheon at the Four Seasons in Palo Alto, CA on September 22.
The panel discussion, “Anxious Children, Anxious Adults: Why Early Treatment Matters,” was moderated by Michelle Kydd Lee, Chief Innovation Officer at Creative Artists Agency, and featured Scott Stossel, editor of the Atlantic and author of My Age of Anxiety, and CMI’s own Jerry Bubrick, PhD. The candid conversation covered the importance of early intervention, treatment recommendations and a brief exposure therapy demonstration (Dr. Bubrick wore a clown wig!). Guests participated in a Q&A and expressed their appreciation for an informative, practical discussion and the opportunity to learn more about the Child Mind Institute.
