A love of reading begins at home — and so do the cognitive and language-based skills that support reading. This workshop, aimed at caregivers of young children (ages 0 to 8), will discuss ways families can promote the development of oral language and early literacy skills through exposure to books, technology, and simple games and activities.

Please note: Intended audience is families with students in grades K-5.

Our virtual caregiver talks are hosted by School and Community Programs clinicians and provide actionable strategies for families to help support K–12 students’ mental health and learning needs.
