Allison Dubinski, LMSW, is a clinical social worker in the Student Success Program at the Child Mind Institute. Ms. Dubinski has extensive experience delivering evidence-based interventions and programs within elementary school settings, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Responsive Classroom (RC) and Second Step. She has experience working with children with a range of diagnoses, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, selective mutism, disruptive behavior disorders, major depressive disorder and anxiety disorders.
Ms. Dubinski began her career as a third grade teacher in Newark, New Jersey, through Teach for America. She then went on to receive her master’s degree in social work and has since worked throughout New York City as both a classroom teacher and a licensed school social worker. She has a great deal of experience working closely with teachers and families to complete thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that extend beyond the classroom setting. Ms. Dubinski is highly dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to effective mental health services.
