Ways to Give

Shop for Gifts

Support children’s mental health by shopping for gifts that give back. A portion of proceeds from each sale benefits the Child Mind Institute.

As part of Bloomingdale’s commitment to supporting today’s youth, our long-standing partners are sharing many ways to give back this holiday season. Purchase one of their cuddly limited-edition Little Brown Bears at the regular price of $22 through 12/31 and they will donate $5 to the Child Mind Institute. Or, starting 11/29, make a donation at checkout on bloomingdales.com or by rounding up your purchase to the nearest dollar in store.

Five Star Notebooks

Five Star and the Child Mind Institute are partnering to help make mental health education more accessible. Show you care by choosing Five Star’s specially designed notebooks. Purchase won’t affect donation amount. Sold at Target and on target.com.

This initiative will contribute to a landmark study to understand mental health in children around the world.

TINTS Eyewear

With sunglasses being not just an accessory but a necessity, TINTS Eyewear sells quality, reliable, stylish sunglasses at a reasonable price – and with a purpose. For every sunglass sold, the brand donates $1 to the Child Mind Institute.

Founded by two sisters living with OCD and anxiety, Presently is a jewelry brand that creates mindfulness bracelets to remind those who are lost in anxious thought to redirect their attention to the present moment. Engraved with phrases inspired by cognitive behavioral therapy, these bracelets are designed to help make anxiety and mental health a more open, more manageable part of our everyday lives. $5 of every bracelet goes to the Child Mind Institute when selected at checkout.

Remember scratch n’ sniff stickers? Kara Dahn, mom of 4 and owner of Scen-ties, grew up during the ’80s when these stickers were everywhere. Scen-ties is a similar concept, but instead of scratching and sniffing, we are stretching and sniffing! Scen-ties adds a fun twist to ordinary accessories by fragrancing them with fun scents like bubblegum and cotton candy. These “toycessories” donate 5% of proceeds to the Child Mind Institute.
