Inspiring the Next Generation of Brilliant Scientists

Training Future Leaders

Just as our progress has been illuminated by those who’ve come before, we recognize the importance of inspiring and training those who will need to pick up the torch from us. The Child Mind Institute is committed to advancing science that represents all by investing in the scientific leaders of tomorrow and supporting the achievements of those from diverse backgrounds.

For this reason, our training programs are critical to fulfilling our mission. From scholarship awards for promising student scientists to research fellowships at our New York offices, we nurture the spark of innovative thinking that moves science forward.

Learn more about our Rising Scientist Awards for outstanding high school students, our Youth Mental Health Academy for students from structurally marginalized communities, our Endeavor Scientists Program to support the career development of talented multidisciplinary scientists, and our annual On the Shoulders of Giants Scientific Symposium.
