We’re excited to announce the winners of the 2025 10-Minute Challenge: Healthier Technology Use for Kids & Teens.

How to Participate
- Sign up on this page and receive the competition guide and tips.
- Create Your Intervention: Use the Child Mind Institute’s cutting-edge data collection platform MindLogger to design a 10-minute solution that promotes healthier technology use.
- Submit Your Entry: Upload your MindLogger intervention, a brief project summary, and either a video or a slide deck explaining your intervention through the submission form on this page between January 13 and March 17.
- Get Evaluated: Your entry will be judged by a panel of experts and scientists at the Child Mind Institute. Evaluation criteria is available in the competition guide.
- Winners Announced: Winners will be announced in spring 2025.
Frequently Asked Questions
A Single-Session Interventions (SSI) is a brief therapeutic session designed to provide immediate support and resources to individuals. They can effectively help participants cope with specific issues or challenges, making them a valuable tool in mental health research and practice.
The 10-minute challenge has ended. When we start accepting submissions again, you can submit your entry through our online submission portal on this webpage. You can upload a video, presentation deck, or MindLogger-based intervention.
Submissions will be evaluated on:
- Feasibility: Can the intervention be applied daily within 10 minutes?
- Impact: Does the solution encourage positive behavioral changes?
- Creativity: How original and innovative is the intervention?
- Scalability: Can the solution be adapted for different age groups?
- Quality: Overall presentation (visuals, grammar, polish) and execution in MindLogger
The competition starts on January 13, 2025 and the deadline to submit your SSI entry is March 17, 2025.
