David LoBue, MSc
David LoBue, MSc, is the senior machine learning engineer for Next Generation Digital Therapeutics at the Child Mind Institute. David completed a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at College of the Holy Cross and a master’s degree in marketing science and research at Grenoble Ecole de Management in France. He then earned his master’s degree in data science and artificial intelligence (AI) at Northwestern University, where he also designed courses focused on data engineering with the programming language Golang, a newer alternative to Python.
David’s background spans market research, satellite communications/IT, financial services, and private consulting, where he worked on diverse data science problems focused on natural language processing. His prior work at Kantar, GE, and Synchrony Financial in roles ranging from research associate to VP of digital analytics provided deep exposure to various analytic challenges and the full range of the solution/product development process, from prototype to production.
David’s experience with large language models (LLMs), machine learning (ML), and generative AI applications drives products that have beneficial outcomes for families and communities. Motivated by a passion for distilling complex data into impactful applications, he is always exploring the development boundaries of new and innovative AI/ML products.
