Gaia Brignone

Gaia Brignone is head of community and communications at Kokoro, a mental health nonprofit that mobilizes action and capital to create a mentally healthy world. At Kokoro, Gaia leads the Future Mental Health Collective, a global peer-to-peer network for 150+ private mental health funders that include mental health in their giving and investing.

Shaped by her own lived experiences, she is passionate about changing the societal narrative around mental health and raising its status on the global stage. In addition to her work at Kokoro, Gaia is on the youth board of We Are Beyond, a grant-giving youth mental health organization. Gaia graduated from Georgetown University in 2018, double majoring in Marketing and Spanish & Portuguese Studies. She now lives in London and is an avid runner, language enthusiast, and foodie, exploring the power of food and cooking as a therapy tool and a way of bringing communities together.
