Joseph P. Healey

Joseph P. (Joe) Healey is a Co-Founder of HealthCor Management L.P. hedge fund, and HealthCor Partners Management L.P. private equity fund. Prior to launching HealthCor in September 2005, Joe served as a portfolio manager for S.A.C. Capital Advisors (“SAC”) from January 2000 until March 2005. Prior to joining SAC, Joe was a healthcare portfolio manager at Kingdon Capital Management from 1997 to 2000, and was employed as an analyst and portfolio manager at the Dreyfus Corporation from 1992 until 1997. Joe also served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corp at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1988 to 1992. Joe graduated from Boston University in 1988 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and received his M.S. in Technology Management from the University of Maryland in 1993. Joe received his Chartered Financial Analyst (C.F.A.) degree in 1997.
