Lauren Moskowitz, PhD
Lauren Moskowitz, PhD, is a professor of psychology at St. John’s University. Her research focuses on parent-mediated behavioral interventions and the integration of family-based Positive Behavior Support (PBS) with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to improve quality of life and treat anxiety in youth with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). She teaches courses in autism/IDD and Applied Behavior Analysis, serves on the leadership team of the Home and Community Positive Behavior Support Network, is associate editor of Behavior Modification, and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions. She is also co-principal investigator on a New York State Office of Mental Health grant (SPIRIT-ID-Autism) supporting training for mental health providers serving individuals with autism/IDD.
