Maya Roberts is a data analyst in the Center for Data Analytics, Innovation, and Rigor (DAIR) at the Child Mind Institute. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biopsychology, cognition, and neuroscience from the University of Michigan.

While earning her degree, Roberts worked as a research assistant in the Computational Neurolinguistics Laboratory at the University of Michigan. There, she studied neural correlates of language processing. Upon graduation, she joined the EDUCATE team at the Child Mind Institute and collected and analyzed data to study EdTech effectiveness in struggling readers.

In her current role at the DAIR Center, Roberts works on both research analysis and the development of tools to improve the reach and impact of the Child Mind Institute’s clinical work.

Roberts is passionate about the intersection of data science and mental health. She hopes to use her skills to contribute to scientific advancement within the field and the public availability of mental health resources.
