Rebecca Levitt
Rebecca Levitt is a behavior technician for the Selective Mutism Service in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. She is trained in parent-child interaction therapy for selective mutism (PCIT-SM), and she supports patient care in both individual and group settings. She also provides logistical and programmatic support for the Selective Mutism Service, including coordinating the Brave Buddies intensive programs.
Prior to joining the Child Mind Institute, Levitt worked as a clinical research coordinator at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she focused on assessment and intervention for children with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Neurofibromatosis Type 1 and ADHD. She has experience administering neuropsychological assessments, conducting diagnostic interviews, and co-leading group executive functioning interventions. Levitt also gained hands-on clinical experience implementing evidence-based behavioral treatments for children with ADHD at Florida International University’s Summer Treatment Program.
Levitt is passionate about behavioral interventions and parent training as key tools in supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development. She plans to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical/school psychology to further advance this work.
