Fall Luncheon A Conversation on Courage: Helping kids build resilience during a school year like no other

Monday, October 12, 2020 - Tuesday, October 13, 2020 · 11:45 am - 12:00 pm

The pandemic has changed our lives in so many ways. There’s no denying that this is a uniquely difficult time, but you don’t have to go through it alone. The Child Mind Institute is here to help.

Your support of this luncheon will help us ensure that we can continue to be there for all children and families amid today’s uncertainty. Thanks to the generosity of Child Mind Institute Board Member Linnea Roberts, every dollar raised through October 13 will be matched, doubling the impact of your support!

We will be joined by Gina Sudaria, Superintendent at Ravenswood City School District, W. Thomas Boyce, MD, Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry at UCSF, 2020 Child Mind Institute Sarah Gund Distinguished Scientist and author of The Orchid and the Dandelion: Why Some Children Struggle and How All Can Thrive, and Carolyn Moriarty, Clinical Social Worker, Student Success Program at the Child Mind Institute, San Francisco Bay Area, to hear about the challenges schools are facing and explore ways to help children and families navigate every child’s needs this year.
