About This Event
Executive functions are a set of mental skills that we use every day to learn, work, and manage daily life. They include working memory, flexible thinking, and self-control. Children are still in the process of developing these skills and often run into challenges along the way. Difficulties with executive functioning can make it hard to focus, follow directions, and handle emotions. This workshop will discuss the different aspects of executive functioning skills and provide practical strategies that caregivers can use to help kids strengthen them.
Please note: Intended audience is families with students in grades K-12.
