Benefit Chairs
Expands our Student Success Program to 30 underserved schools, delivering a combination of mental health training, treatment and support to students, educators and parents across entire school communities
Provides financial aid for 20 children who would otherwise be unable to access care to receive a full course of treatment at the Child Mind Institute
Benefit Champions
Supports a postdoc researcher helping to advance CrisisLogger, a Child Mind Institute website that invites people to document their experiences of the COVID-19 crisis in order to contribute to scientific research about trauma
Allows the Student Success Program to develop and translate grief and COVID-19 recovery guides into 10 languages and to distribute the guides to 1,000 schools, helping parents and teachers talk to young people from diverse backgrounds about the loss of a loved one
Provides a comprehensive mental health and learning evaluation for three children through our Healthy Brain Network study, including information required to request an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) at school
Teaches 15 children coping skills to help manage anxiety and practice interacting in a group setting through the virtual Social Anxiety Program
Trains one school counselor to provide evidence-based treatment to children struggling because of traumatic experiences
Supports the development of evidence-based resources on children’s mental health for educators and families, available for free on our website and social media channels in English and Spanish
