Amanda Kuryluk, PhD
Amanda Kuryluk, PhD, is a former psychologist in the Anxiety Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute. In her work with children, adolescents, and families, Dr. Kuryluk uses evidence-based interventions to address anxiety, trauma, and behavior-related issues. She is trained in many therapeutic interventions, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Parent-Child Care (PC-CARE), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Kuryluk also has experience conducting psychological evaluations for children with a variety of neurodevelopmental conditions, including learning disorders, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder. She has worked with children in a variety of settings, including a group home, a residential treatment program, hospitals, and community mental health clinics. Dr. Kuryluk enjoys working closely with families to best support the needs of the child.
