Anna Moy, MS, is a psychology extern in the Healthy Brain Network at the Child Mind Institute. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in school-community psychology at Hofstra University, where she also earned a master’s degree in school psychology. Ms. Moy specializes in conducting psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults dealing with a variety of mental health and behavioral challenges.

Before joining the Child Mind Institute, Ms. Moy provided therapy, psychoeducational assessments, and parenting work in a multitude of settings — including the Lawrence School District, Oceanside School District, the Churchill School and Center, and the Joan & Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center at Hofstra University. She was a clinical coordinator for the Positive Psychology Institute for Emerging Adults at Hofstra University, providing individual therapy, group therapy, and community presentations for young people struggling with anxiety, depression, and a range of mental health challenges. Additionally, Ms. Moy served as the clinical coordinator for the Institute for Generational Resilience Informed by Trauma (GRIT) at Hofstra University, where she worked with community partners, organized trainings, and led workshops on the impact of stress on mental health.

Ms. Moy views psychological assessment and diagnosis as an important process to helping individuals better understand themselves and learn to thrive with support. She is dedicated to working with children, young adults, and their families to create individual plans for success.
