Apurva Gokhe, MS
Apurva Gokhe, MS, is a data analyst on the Mobile Brain/Body Imaging (MoBI) Core team within the Center for Strategic Data Initiatives (SDI) at the Child Mind Institute. Her responsibilities include data handling and analysis, implementing and updating data quality assurance protocols, assisting with maintenance of multimodal databases, and testing and evaluating data processing and feature generation protocols.
Apurva earned her master’s degree in applied cognition and neuroscience, with a specialization in cognitive neuroscience, from the University of Texas at Dallas. While at the University of Texas, Apurva was a research intern at the Brain Circuits Lab, where she gained experience in computational neuroscience and its clinical applications. She also worked as a student assistant at the Callier Child Development Program.
Apurva is passionate about applying computational methods to understand mechanisms underlying cognitive abilities and behavior. She aims to pursue a doctoral degree and work to improve treatment for neurodevelopmental disorders.
